Mmmm... cupcakes.

Any good photographer should get to know his or her subject a little before diving right in. In preparation for the I.E. Cupcake Fair/Cupcakes For A Cause event that I will be shooting on Sunday, I thought it only right to do a little "research" on my subject matter.

It was pretty tasty "research" if I say so myself.

Goofiness

I enjoy capturing the TRUE essence of the people I photograph. I am not really one for silly contrived poses, and actually prefer that people just act naturally. Photographing children is by far the easiest and most enjoyable aspect of this for me.

No child can resist being goofy when given the direction to do so. I asked them what they wanted to do, and these pictures were the result.
